England’s young batsman Harry Brook took full advantage of the mistakes of Indian bowlers and fielders on the third day of the Leeds Test and won an explosive innings by getting a life of three times, which brought England to a strong position. But the shocking thing was that despite getting the support of luck so many times, he could not complete his century. Harry Brook was dismissed for 99 runs in this innings. His wicket was achieved by the famous Krishna.
Harry Brook dismissed for 99 runs
At the beginning of this innings of Harry Brook, Jasprit Bumrah made a chance to send him to the pavilion without opening an account. But Bumrah’s ball came out no ball, and Brook got the first life. This mistake was overshadowed by India and Harry Brook took full advantage of it. After this, when Brook was batting for 46 runs, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant left an easy catch off Ravindra Jadeja. This was the second big opportunity for India, which slipped from his hand. Due to which Brook carried his innings forward in an aggressive manner.
The Indian team once again saw a mistake. When Brook was on 82 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal, standing in the street on a ball from Bumrah, left his catch. This third life proved to be a boon for Brook, and he not only took over his innings, but also reached 99 runs. After which his century was considered to be completed. Then a ball from the famous Krishna turned the innings on his aspirations. The famous Krishna threw an accurate bouncer, on which the brook was caught out. Brook faced a total of 112 balls and scored these runs with the help of 11 fours and 2 sixes.
Famous Krishna’s strong return
The third day of the Leeds Test was quite good for the famous Krishna. He could not get a single wicket in the second day’s game. But on the third day, he made three batsmen a victim. He started the day with dismissing Oli Pope, after which Jamie Smith also made his victim.
