Talking to The Times of India, Sourav Ganguly said, “Right now he is young and I am confident that he will definitely get a chance.” Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Jadeja all scored runs. The number three slot is a bit weak and Ishwan can be fed there. That is a place where Abhimanyu can be seen doing well.
The Indian player’s father had also revealed that Gautam Gambhir had spoken to his son and assured him that whatever he is doing is doing right and he will definitely get his opportunity. The head coach of the Indian team had said that after just one or two matches, I will not get you out of the team.
