Nitish hurt in gym
The fourth match between India and England in Manchester is to begin on July 23. For this, Team India is constantly engaged in practice and training. But with this training, Team India has received bad news as Reddy’s injury. According to media reports, 22 -year -old Reddy suffered a knee injury during training in the gym on Sunday, July 20, 3 days before the match. After this, he was immediately scanned, in which ligament injury has been seen. Due to this, Reddy’s journey in this series has ended here.
How serious this injury of Reddy is and for how long he will remain out of the field, it will be known in the coming days. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has not yet officially announced the injury of Reddy and hence the situation is not clear at the moment.

This series was not special for Nitish, who made a strong Test debut on Australia tour last year. He did not get a chance in the first match but in the second match, he was entered in place of Shardul Thakur. He could not do anything special in this match and could score only 1-1 runs in both innings. At the same time, there was no success in bowling. Despite this, he was selected in the third Test and here he played 30 and 13 runs with 3 wickets. In both innings, he stayed at the crease for a long time but could not make big scores.
Team India troubled by Arshdeep-Akash’s injury
Reddy’s injury lags behind in the series and put additional pressure on the Indian team struggling with injury. Already, Akash Deep (back pain) and left -arm fast bowler Arshdeep (hand wound) have been almost out of the fourth Test due to injury. Akash Deep took part in the second and third Tests, while Arshdeep has not been able to make his debut yet. Even he is feared to be out of the last Test. Due to this, the selectors have included young fast bowler Anshul Kamboj in the squad. As far as Reddy’s replacement is concerned, the team has the option of Shardul Thakur as an all -rounder.
