England fast bowler Bridan Cars has revealed that he thought of cutting his other leg finger to deal with his constant disturbing leg injury. The 29 -year -old player had to face deep, infected wounds on the second finger of his left leg during bowling. This injury suffered him due to repeatedly hitting the crease of the front leg. Due to this injury, the Champions Trophy could not play and at the same time he could not play in IPL 2025. Now cars told before the Indo-England series that he was going to cut his foot finger.

Sensational revelation of Bridan Cars

Bridan Cars said in a conversation with the BBC, ‘At one time I was thinking before sleeping,’ I think I can do it – I think I can cut my second finger, ‘but then the medical staff said that you need to balance, so it was rejected soon.’ This problem forced the cars to return from Pakistan in the middle of the Champions Trophy and leave the IPL contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad. He took three to four different antibiotic courses for 6 to 8 weeks, as the wound was repeatedly infected.

How did cars return

Instead of harsh steps such as finger cutting, cars adopted less aggressive solutions on the advice of experts. He began to wear narrow shoes, pierced a separate place in shoes, and used new insole. The extended break from February to May also helped his recovery. Cars returned to first class cricket in late May and played a key role in England’s 3–0 win by playing in all three ODIs against the West Indies. He is now ready to play against the West Indies in the England T20 series, and will also participate in the Test match against India in Leeds from June 20.
