It was named after Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and his son Mansur Ali Khan Patoudi.

Sachin Tendulkar, one of the best cricketers in India, is the highest run collector in Test history, with a run of 1,220. The 32 -year -old former player has played 20 Tests between 5 and 20. He has numerous records in the Test and ODI format. Anderson is England’s highest wicket -taker, with 5 wickets, and the most successful fast bowler in Test cricket. These two legends have faced each other in five Test matches, where Anderson has been dismissed for Tendulkar nine times. This is a record of the largest number of this Indian by a bowler. Considering the greatness of both players, the trophy is reported to be named after both of them.
