There is not much time left for the Test series between England and India to start. Joe Root has said that even though Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are no longer part of Team India, it will be a big mistake to assess the Indian team lightly. Joe Root made a big statement
Joe Root told Sky Sports, ‘You can only get excited. There is a similar series in which you want to play. The opportunity in front of us is really very big. Ashes are also coming and we have to be ready for it too. People are speaking a lot about the series against India, but you have to do your work against the best team. The way India has played cricket in all formats like a team, they have covered all the base. He also has a talented batsman and the bowling attack is also strong.
The experienced player further said, ‘They can challenge strongly anywhere in the world, but our figures in our house make this series even more spectacular. We will get down to play on the field with full confidence. Joe Root also said about captain Ben Stokes that he has done a lot for me as a vice -captain and now it is my turn to do him. The way Ben Stokes has handled the team after my departure is really a big thing. Now I will support them.
