Australia has announced its team for the T20 series against the West Indies and the biggest news in this is that Josh Hazlewood has also returned to the T20 team. Many dhakad players have been included in this team. In the upcoming T20 series, Australia will be seen captaining Mitchell Marsh. This series will be played in July next month.
Josh Hazlewood returns to T20 team
Josh Hazlewood, who performed amazing in IPL 2025, has managed to make a comeback in the T20 team. The right -handed fast bowler took 22 wickets in the IPL, he finished third. On the basis of his bowling, RCB won the IPL Trophy for the first time. Now Hazlewood is back in the Australian team. The player played the last T20 International match on September 11, 2024.
Mitchell Owen gets a place in the team
Mitchell Owen and Matt Kuhnemann have been included in Australia’s T20 team for the first time. Owen scored the most runs in the Big Bash League. He scored 452 runs in 11 innings at an average of 45.20. A century was also present in it. The Dhakad player scored 108 runs off 42 balls while batting aggressively in the final. Because of his innings, Hobart Hurquanus won the finals and Owen was awarded the Player of the Match Award.
Talking about Mitchell Marsh, he performed a bang for Lucknow Super Giants in the recently ended IPL 2025. He was the highest run -scorer for his team. Mitchell Marsh scored 627 runs in 13 innings, including a century. His batting was fiercely praised by all the people.
Glenn Maxwell returns to Australia team
Dhakad all -rounder Glenn Maxwell has recently retired from ODI cricket. Glenn Maxwell has also been included in Australia’s T20 team. Glenn Maxwell has not been in great form for some time but he can be seen performing a bang in the T20 series against the West Indies.
This T20 series starts in Jamaica from 19 July. 5 T20 matches will be played in this series. Fast bowler Josh Hazelwood has also returned to the T20 team. He was rested in the previous series. Left -arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann has also got a place in the team for the first time.
