He also completed the remaining 14 runs within an hour. Nair hit a score of 199 and completed his memorable double century. He achieved this special place in 272 balls. During his innings, the right -handed batsman hit 26 fours and 1 six. Although he finally was out for 204 runs, but by then he had brought India A close to 500 runs.
Karun has a special attachment to England
This is the fourth double century of 33 -year -old Karun Nair’s first class career. Incidentally, 3 of this double centuries have come against England or its associated teams. He scored a historic triple century in the Chennai Test against England in 2016.
