He said that Sudarshan either should not have blossomed the match or he should have given more opportunities. Talking to Chennai to Revsportz, he said that I think Sai should have given more opportunities to Sudarshan. There is no point in feeding a Test match to a player and then sitting on the bench.
Karun Nair disappoints the team
He said that Karun Nair was given more opportunities in this Test series, but he has disappointed the team. Karun Nair has scored only 131 runs in 6 innings of three Tests at an average of 21.83. His highest score in this is 40 runs. While Sai Sudarshan was dismissed on Duck in the first innings of his only Test match, but in the second innings he scored 30 runs.
Former India opener said that the team management needs to think again before feeding Karun Nair in the fourth match. I think Sai Sudarshan and Abhimanyu Ishwaran should get a chance in the fourth Test match.
