No one can fool someone for 5 years, Allahabad HC imposed cricketer Yash Dayal’s arrest

Yash Dayal, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has got a big relief from the Allahabad High Court. The High Court has stayed Dayal’s arrest. Earlier, cricketer went to Allahabad High Court for the case registered against him in Ghaziabad. The High Court said during the hearing that no one can be fooled for 5 years.

During the hearing in the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday, a bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Anil Kumar verbally stated that “no one can be fooled for 5 years”.

According to the website Live Law, the bench also said orally, “You can be fooled for one day, two days, three days… but 5 years… You have been in a relationship with them for 5 years… No one can be fooled for 5 years.”

27 -year -old cricketer Yash Dayal filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court after an FIR was registered by a woman in a case of sexual harassment. A case was registered against him at Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad on 6 July.

Yash Dayal filed a writ petition in the Allahabad High Court challenging this after registering a case at Indirapuram police station for sexually abusing a woman. The cricketer had filed a writ petition in the High Court seeking a ban on his arrest in the case and cancellation of the FIR lodged against him.

This FIR against Yash Dayal was lodged in a police station in Ghaziabad on July 6 under Section 69 (having sex with a deception) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).

Dayal is accused of sexually abusing a woman on the pretext of marriage. According to the complainant, Dayal promised to marry the woman when both met about 5 years ago. It is also being claimed by the victim that Yash Dayal repeatedly postponed her proposal to marry her. And then she came to know that she also had a relationship with many other women. This complaint was initially made on the Chief Minister’s online complaint settlement portal (IGRS) on 21 June.
