This tri-series will be played in UAE. This series will help the Pakistan team a lot and they will also be able to understand the situation there. Pakistan will take part in Tri-Series
This tri-series will be played between Pakistan, UAE and Afghanistan. Speaking to the media, Mohsin Naqvi said, ‘This series will be played before the Asia Cup 2025 starts and we are confirming this.’ Mohsin Naqvi also said that another tri-series is expected to be played in February 2026 which will be between Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh.
Talking about the Pakistan team, their performance was very bad recently in the T20 series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh won this T20 series 2–1. The first two matches of this series were won by Bangladesh while Pakistan won the third and final T20. Earlier, Pakistan visited New Zealand in the month of March-April, which had to face 1-4 defeat in the T20 series. New Zealand had done Pakistan 3–0 clean in the three-match ODI series.
Won Asia Cup won in 2012
The final match of Asia Cup 2012 was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Dhaka. This was done in ODI format in which Pakistan batted first and scored 236 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Sarfaraz Ahmed scored the most runs from the team. He played a 46 -run not out innings while Mohammad Hafeez contributed 40 runs. In response, Bangladesh was able to score 234 runs after losing 8 wickets in 50 overs and Pakistan did this match.
For Bangladesh, opener Tamim Iqbal scored 60 runs while veteran all -rounder Shakib Al Hasan contributed 68 runs. However, despite the half -century innings of these two players, Bangladesh failed to win the match. For Pakistan, Ejaz Cheema took three wickets while Saeed Ajmal and Omar Gul took two wickets each.
