It is being talked about Pathum Nisanka, who scored a century in the first innings of the first Test. Pathum completed this century in just 136 balls, in which 13 fours and a six came out of his bat. Pathum Nisanka scored a third century in Test career but this is his first century on his home soil.

In the first innings of the Gaul Test, Bangladesh scored 495 runs, which Sri Lanka has responded in a befitting manner. Although this team lost the first wicket on the score of 47 runs as Lahiru Udara, but after this, Pathum, along with veteran batsman Dinesh Chandimal, took a century partnership and took Sri Lanka. Both these batsmen added 50 runs in the first 83 balls and Nisanka reached a half -century in 88 balls. After scoring a half -century, Nisanka batting openly scored a century in just 136 balls. On the other hand, Chandimal also completed his Hafsenchuri in 99 balls. By the time the news was written, both the batsmen had crossed Sri Lanka’s score to 200.

The 27 -year -old player also touched a thousand runs in Test cricket during his century innings. Nisanka has done this feat in just 29 balls. Nisanka is not only Test but also in ODI cricket and T20 cricket. This player has scored 2508 runs in 66 ODIs at an average of more than 41 and he has also scored a double century in ODIs. In T20 too, Nisanka has hit 1734 runs at an average of around 30.
