Actually, a video is becoming quite viral on social media. In this video, Shubman Gill was seen asking Jadeja to make some changes in the fielding during England’s batting. But Jadeja refused to do so. After which this incident became a topic of discussion among the fans. While the England team was batting during the match, Gill stood in slip and suggested Jadeja to bring the fielder posted on long-on. Gill said to Jadeja, ‘Jaddu bhai, take him a little up, man. Let me go one step ahead and kill it.
However, Jadeja rejected this suggestion outright. He replied that there is no need for a fielder on long-on and if Stokes goes to play the shot, there should be a fielder below to take the catch. Jadeja, while speaking, said, ‘There is no work to him there. At least someone should be a catch holder below. Jadeja after this answer, Gill returned quietly to his place without saying anything. After which the fans described it as insulting Gill on social media. However, Gill had given only one suggestion and the field placement often decides according to his own, which Jadeja also did.
Team India easily won the match
Team India dominated this match from the very first day. He scored 587 runs in their first innings, in response to which England could score 407 runs and Team India took a lead of 180 runs. Then the Indian team declared their second innings by scoring 427 runs and gave England a target of 608 runs. But the England team collapsed for 271 runs.
