For a long time, RCB supporters used to say ‘A Sala Cup Namde’. Which means, ‘The cup will be ours this year’. But after becoming the champion, the slogan became ‘A Sala Cup Namdu’. That is, this year we have been a cup. Gavaskar said the slogan does not encourage the players. Rather creates stress. “But this year, this slogan has been less talked about.
