South Africa’s T20 Cricket League, SA20 is ready for its fourth season. On September 9, 541 players will participate in the players’ auctions in Johannesburg, including 300 South African and 241 foreign players. Six franchise teams will finalize their 19 -member team in this auction. This season of SA20 will start from 26 December 2025. However, this time the name of any Indian player is not included in the auction list, which is quite shocking.

All players of India out

This time more than 800 players had registered for the SA20 league, which is the highest in the four -year history of the tournament. After the review of the franchisees, this list was limited to 541 players. Let me tell you, 13 players of India had also registered for the auction. These 13 players are Mahesh Ahir, Sarul Kanwar, Anurit Singh Kathuria, Nikhil Jaga, Mohammad Faid, KS Naveen, Ansari Maroof, Imran Khan, Venkatesh Galipalli, Atul Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Siddharth Kaul and Ankit Rajput. But none of these players have been selected for auction.

These players will be monitored in auction

In the auction, South Africa’s T20 captain Aidan Markram is going to be an eye on everyone. Along with them, names like South Africa’s Enark Northern, Quinton de Kock, Reeja Hendrix, Keshav Maharaj, Tabrez Shamsi, Otnil Bartman, and Garald Koetzi are also part of the auction. Bangladesh veteran all -rounder Shakib Al Hasan is the biggest name among foreign players. England veteran bowler James Anderson is also going to enter the auction. Alex Hales and Moin Ali are also among the big players.

84 players may open luck

A total of 84 players can be purchased in a total of US $ 7.37 million (about 65 crore rupees) in the auction. Which can include more than 25 foreign players. Let me tell you, each franchise will have to form a team of 19 players, which will include at least 9 South African players, at most seven foreign players, two under-23 local players, and one wildcard selection. Wildcard player can be selected by 30 December.
