Snehashis Gangopadhyay hospitalized for diarrhea : Snehashis Gangopadhyay, president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. He is suffering from diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. He has been admitted to the Woodlands Hospital right now. The hospital said in a press statement, ‘Mr Snehashis Gangopadhyay Dr. Dr. with diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain this morning. Sattarshi was admitted to the hospital under the supervision of Basu. Currently he is taking Inturnas saline and antibiotics. He is stable and in observation. ‘
On that day, the incidence of diarrhea suddenly increased in Kotak district. So far 4 patients have been found. Five of them were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, and the remaining five were undergoing treatment at Cotton City Hospital.
In this context, one person’s death has also been reported. The administration has ordered that all schools and colleges in Katak district be closed till June 25 as a precautionary system to address the situation. Tapan Kumar, a senior medicine doctor at City Hospital, expressed deep concern over the behavior of mixed patients.
Doctor Tapan Kumar Mishra said, “Patients are coming to the hospital with abdominal pain and vomiting in the morning. But for only 2-3 days, many people are leaving the hospital without telling the staff with saline and first aid. In this situation we cannot do anything. ‘
He added, ‘If the treatment is not complete, full wellness is not possible. This mentality of quitting treatment in the middle is very dangerous. ‘ The physician emphasizes the counseling of those mixed patients. At present, 20 specific beds have been kept for diarrhea patients at the City Hospital and 5 additional beds have been prepared for the emergency situation.
Doctor Tapan Kumar warned the Mishra and advised to avoid all kinds of street food. The administration is keeping a close eye on the situation and requested everyone to be vigilant and advised doctors.
