Shahid Afridi is the captain of the Pakistani team in the World Championships of Legends and has already happened to him before the start of this tournament that his fans will not expect at all. In fact, Shahid Afridi was dropped from the promo poster of the tournament. A total of 6 teams are participating in this tournament including West Indies, South Africa, India, England, Australia and Pakistan. The poster of the tournament was launched on July 16 and the big thing is that the picture of the captains of all the teams was found, just Shahid Afridi’s photo was missing from it.
Why Shahid Afridi’s photo disappears?
There is no need to run much mind in knowing why Shahid Afridi’s photo has disappeared from the poster. Actually, an Indian company is sponsoring this tournament and India-Pakistan relations are quite strong and this is being considered a big reason to get Shahid Afridi’s picture out of the poster. By the way, a big question here is what will happen by getting out of the poster because the Indian team is playing cricket against Pakistan. Pahalgam will be seen fighting with each other in cricket for the first time after the terrorist attack. To say this is the league of retired players, but all the players are playing in it, whose fan following is still.
