The former opener of the Indian team has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED has called to question him in the case related to the promotion of a betting app. According to reports, this investigation is related to online betting platform 1xbet, which Dhawan is promoting on social media. Now the ED has asked Shikhar Dhawan to clarify the matter to be involved in the investigation. Since last year, many Bollywood and South films actor and cricketers are under investigation on charges of promoting illegal betting apps. The list includes Vijay Devarakonda, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Harbhajan Singh, Urvashi Rautela and Suresh Raina. Recently, former Team India cricketer Suresh Raina was also questioned by the ED.
