The Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given great responsibility to Team India’s legendary batsman Shreyas Iyer. He has been made the captain of India-A team. He will captain the team in the two four-day match against Australia-A from 16 September. Wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Juril has also got a big responsibility. Many legendary players have been given a chance in this team. Wicketkeeper batsman Narayan Jagadishan, who missed a double century in the semi -finals of the Dalip Trophy, has got a place in this team, while Rituraj Gaikwad has been ignored once again, while he has hit a brilliant century in the semi -finals in the Dalip Trophy.

The first of the two four-day matches between Australia-A and India-A will be held in Lucknow from 16 to 19 September. The second four -day match will be played in Lucknow from 23 to 26 September. After this, a three -match ODI series will be played in Kanpur from 30 September to 5 October. India-A team is yet to be announced for the ODI series.
