Not only this, Gill, Gavaskar and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored more than 700 runs in a Test series, are only the third Indian batsman. Gavaskar scored 774 runs in 1971 against the West Indies in 1971, while for the second time he scored 732 runs against West Indies in 1778-79 in India. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 712 runs in 2024 against England in 2024. Gill has also joined this list.
