Indian management has made KL Rahul the vice -captain of Team India for this match. The decision to make KL Rahul as vice -captain has been taken in view of his experience and form. Rahul also has a captaincy experience. He has commanded the Indian team in different formats. In the last match too, Rahul took the responsibility of the team on the field for some time.
In the absence of Pant, the Indian team has given a chance to some new faces in playing 11. Dhruv Jurlel has been included in the playing 11 as a wicketkeeper. In the last two matches, when Rishabh Pant was involved in Cho, Dhruv Jurlel took the responsibility of wicketkeeping and also impressed a lot.
