This game did not stop due to rain or injury of a player, but the game had to be stopped due to a fox. The fox made several rounds on the ground and finally went out of the field, after which the game started again.

The Hundred 2025 (Mains) began on Tuesday 5 August at Lord’s ground. The first match was played between London Spirit and last time champion Oval Invinesals. During the match, a fox entered the ground and started running fast. Seeing this, the audience started laughing. The fox kept circling the ground for about a minute, due to which the game had to be stopped. During this time, London Spirit fast bowler Daniel Wall was bowling.
Seeing the fox, Stuart Broad and Eoin Morgan could not stop their happiness. Sky Sports Cricket has shared the video on social media, running on the fox ground, which is becoming increasingly viral. After circling around the ground, the fox went out of the ground. After this the game started again.

What was the condition of the match?
In the first match of The Hundred 2025, the London Spirit’s team batting first could score only 80 runs after losing all the wickets in 94 balls. Spinner on behalf of Oval Invinesals Rashid Khan And all-rounder Sam Curren bowled brilliantly, destroying the batting line up of the London Spirit, which included star batsmen like David Warner, Ken Williamson and Ashton Turner.
Rashid and Sam Curren took three wickets each. Jordan Clarke got two wickets. Chasing the target, the Oval Invinesals won the match by losing four wickets in 69 balls. Rashid Khan was adjudged Player of the Match for his superb bowling.
