Team India Test captain Shubman Gill scored fierce runs on England tour and took many records. From the first match of the Test series, Gill started showing his bat. Gill was dismissed by 21 runs and thus the 45 -run partnership between Sai Sudarshan was broken, while the Indian team unnecessarily lost its third wicket. It was clearly visible in the replay that there was no need to take this run there. In this way, Shubman Gill was run out only for the second time in his Test career and for the first time on foreign land. Incidentally, for the first time too, he was run out against England. In the Test played in 2024 in Rajkot, he returned to the pavilion after scoring 91 runs.
The coach did not have to agree heavy
The most special thing about this run was that Gill and Sudarshan had already received a warning about it. Both these players playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL received warning from his head coach Ashish Nehra in the franchise.
