The BCCI recently announced India’s Under-19 cricket team for the tour of Australia. Three ODIs and two four -day matches will be played between the two teams on this tour. The Junior Cricket Committee has appointed Ayush Mhatre as the captain of the team, while Vihaan Malhotra will be the vice -captain. Apart from these, 14 -year -old explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been included in the squad. The special thing is that this time Vaibhav will be seen playing red with Suryavanshi and red of Bihar, whose name is Kishan Kumar.
Kishan Kumar gets first opportunity in the under-19 team
Kishan Kumar of Nandlalpur, a small village in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, has illuminated the name of not only his family but the entire Bihar with his passion and hard work. Left-arm fast bowler Kishan has been selected in the Indian Under-19 cricket team, who will field against Australia from September 21. Born in Jagannathpur village of Nandlalpur Panchayat of Kahalgaon block, Kishan’s father Sushil Singh is a farmer. Kishan had to face a lot of difficulties in raising the necessary resources for cricket due to the weak family’s financial condition. There was no ground to play in the village, due to which Kishan used to play cricket in the streets. Sometimes he used to go to NTPC ground for practice.
Not accepted even in front of family financial crisis
Despite the financial constraints of the family, his parents sent him to his aunt Kiran Singh in Allahabad in view of Kishan’s passion. There, Kishan started focusing on cricket along with studies. Former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra’s academy played an important role in refining Kishan’s talent. Kishan gave his bowling more edge after Ashish Nehra enrolled in the Cricket Academy from Allahabad. His hard work and dedication has brought him to the Indian Under-19 team.
Along with Kishan Kumar, this team also includes Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Samastipur. Vaibhav is known for his aggressive batting, in such a situation, the fans are desperate about how this Bihari couple will perform together in front of the Australian bowlers and batsmen. On this tour, Vaibhav will disturb the Kangaroos with his batting, while Kishan will try to take the wicket of the opposition team with his fast bowling.
