There are many months left for the new season of the Indian Premier League to begin. Even a mini auction has not been announced yet and it can be in December or January. But there is a stir for the next season and the reason for this is the IPL Trading Window. Rajasthan Royals and its captain Sanju Samson have been in the discussion on this front for the last several days. There has been a big disclosure amidst the ongoing rumors and speculation. Sanju Samson has decided to leave Rajasthan Royals and has officially demanded the franchise to trade or release himself.
Since the end of the IPL 2025 season, there was sudden movement that Samson would not be part of this franchise further. Such rumors were also flying that they could move to Chennai Super Kings. It was being told that this star player can be traded between the two franchises. But there was no official confirmation about this. But now in a report of Cricbuzz, it has been revealed by quoting Samson’s family and the players who have played with him that Samson has decided to leave the Royals.
The report claimed that Samson has formally told the Rajasthan Royals Management about his intention to leave the team and also request that either they should be traded in another franchise or released for mini auction. It has also been told in this report that there are deep differences between Samson and franchise management, due to which the current captain of the team has decided to take such a big step.
