As the Test series between India and England progressed towards its last stop, the tension between the two teams showed increasing. But before the last Test match at the Oval, the fierce debate between the head coach of the Indian team and the Chief Curator of this stadium shocked everyone. Since then, it started being discussed everywhere and now the response of former India captain Sourav Ganguly has also come out in this matter.
The last match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy began on 31 July at the Oval, London. But even before this match, the atmosphere in the oval ground was heated. In fact, during the practice session of Team India two days before the match, there was a terrible debate between the curator Fortis of Oval Stadium and Gautam Gambhir, head coach of Team India. While the curator Lee was asking him to stand away from the pitch, while Gambhir was also reversing and answering him.

The video of this debate of Gambhir and curator went viral from media to social media. Since then, reactions have been coming on this issue continuously. When Sourav Ganguly, former captain of Team India and president of BCCI, was also asked about this, he did not give it much. Ganguly said, “I don’t know why Gambhir was so angry. Every coach, captain and groundsman have been talking and sometimes they are happy, sometimes with unhappiness. In my time, this happened in my time, it will happen in future too. So there is no need to pay more attention to it.”
Grass seen on the oval pitch
Gambhir and Fortis Lee’s debate maintained the atmosphere for two days before the match. But with the start of the match on 31 July, this issue got cold because the eyes stood on the game running till the next 5. Incidentally, in this entire series, only the Oval ground proved to be the only one, whose grass was left on the pitch, while the pitch of the last 4 Test match proved to be quite flat.
