Team India is currently playing a 5 -match Test series against England. Three matches have been played between these two teams and England are ahead 2–1 in the series. Now the fourth Test between these two teams is starting from July 23 at Old Trafford, Manchester. Before this Test match, former English player David Lloyd has given a big statement about Jaspreet Bumrah. According to him, Bumrah can be seen playing for Team India in both the remaining Tests. Not only this, he also said that in the match as much as Bumrah has played for Team India, most of them have suffered defeat.

David Lloyd made a statement

David Lloyd said, ‘This was already told and Gautam Gambhir had also said that Bumrah will take part in three of the five Tests. Now he has the option because two more matches are left and Bumrah has participated in two matches. If he is sure of his words, then Bumrah will definitely play the next match in Old Trafford. If Team India wins in Old Trafford and the result is 2-2, then I think Bumrah will definitely play in the Oval Test. At the moment, I feel that Bumrah will be seen bowling in the fourth Test match. If England wins the fourth Test, Bumrah will be out in the last Test but if the result is 2-2, he will also play in the Oval.

After this statement by David Lloyd, the anchor told him that Team India has won the same match in this series so far and Bumrah was not included in it. On this, the former player said, ‘This is really a very different thing. Some people have said that when they play, the team loses more than them. His action is quite strange but he is a great person.

Bumrah data in Test series

Jasprit Bumrah took part in the first Test match played in Leeds for Team India in which he took 5 wickets in the first innings. Bumrah was out of Edgbaston Test. In the third Test match played at Lord’s Stadium in London, Bumrah took 5 wickets in the first innings while he took two wickets in the second innings. If Team India has to stay in this series, then it is necessary to win the fourth Test and Bumrah also knows this very well.
