Commenting in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, Hemung Badani said, ‘Why will we spend 11 crores on a player and keep it on the bench? We included Natarajan in the team so that he could bowl in the middle and the last over.
Coach Badani referred to Natarajan’s fitness and said, ‘Even after he recovered from the injury, he was not fully fit. He was injured all the season and that is why we did not give him a chance. This is the reason that Natarajan played only two matches in IPL 2025. If he had fit fully, we would give him maximum opportunities.
