The Asia Cup 2025 to be held in September has started looming more. Now the possibility of cancellation of this tournament is being expressed. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Sri Lanka Cricket have decided not to attend the meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to be held in Dhaka on 24 July. According to the report of Telecom Asia Sport, both the boards have taken this decision at a time when there are less than two months left for the start of this tournament of six countries. Although the ACC has confirmed that the meeting will be according to the plan, but the absence of India and Sri Lanka is putting the future of this tournament in danger.
