ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 is going to start in India and Sri Lanka, in which a total of 8 teams are participating. The tournament will start from September 30, for which the sale of tickets has started. Cricket fans were waiting for the ticket cell for the last several weeks and now this wait is over. Ticket sales have started for all the World Cup matches and its price is so low, which will be surprised to know. These tickets are cheaper than a cup of coffee found in a coffee shop. Yes, the World Cup tickets are starting from just 100 rupees.
Pre-cell will last for 4 days
The ICC started the pre-sale of tickets from Thursday 4 December, which will last for 4 days. This pre-cell window regular ticket sale was started as a special occasion. According to the ICC statement, this sale, which started from 4 September, will run for 4 days. However, this pre-sale of 4 days is not for everyone. It has been kept only for the customers of ‘Google-Pay’, who can also get a cashback of up to Rs 100 on the purchase of tickets during this period. However, the price of tickets will be only 100 rupees.
In its statement, the ICC said that after the completion of this special pre-cell window, the second round of sales will start from 9 September, in which all types of fans will be able to buy tickets. It will start on September 9 from 8 pm and tickets can be purchased from this link- Tickets.cricketworldcup.com.
Regular sale from 9 September
Not only this, the opening ceremony of the tournament has also been announced by the ICC. The first match of the tournament will be played between the two hosts, India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati on 30 September. Just before this match, a great opening ceremony will be organized, in which Bollywood superstar Singer Shreya Ghoshal will entertain the fans with her songs. Shreya’s presence will also be special because she has sung the official anthem of the World Cup 2025, which is going to be released soon.
World Cup from 30 September to 2 November
Talking about the World Cup, the tournament will start from 30 September and the final of the tournament will be played on 2 November. Most of the World Cup matches will be held in India, while only the Pakistani team will play in Sri Lanka. If Pakistan reaches the semi -finals and finals, then they will also be in Sri Lanka. If Pakistan is out of the league stage itself, the final will be played in India itself. Apart from India and Sri Lanka, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, England, Pakistan and Bangladesh are participating in the tournament.
