Announcement of Women’s World Cup schedule (PC-PTI)
The International Cricket Council i.e. the ICC announced the schedule of the Women’s Cricket World Cup. The tournament will begin on September 30, while the final match will be played on 2 November. These tournaments will host India and Sri Lanka together and the first match will be held at Chinnaswamy Stadim, Bengaluru. The final of the Women’s World Cup will be held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, while if Pakistan qualify for the final, then this match will be played in Colombo.
Women’s World Cup matches will be held at 5 stadiums
The Women’s World Cup will be in five venue as compared to 2025. These matches were compared to Chinnaswamy, ACA Stadium in Guwahati, Holkar Stadium in Indore, ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam and R. of Colombo. Premdasa will be played at the Stadium. This tournament will run for one month in which 8 teams will participate. The tournament’s knock out round will be held on 29 October in Guwahati or Colombo. The second semi -final match will be played in Bengaluru on 30 October.

8 teams have qualified for the Women’s World Cup. India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan will participate in this tournament. Australia will land to save its title. This team won the World Cup for the 7th time in the year 2022.
Women’s World Cup winners
The first winner of the Women’s World Cup was England. This team won this title in 1973. After this, Australia won three consecutive World Cups, the team became champions in 1978, 1982 and 1988. In 1993, England again won the World Cup and in 1997 Australia won. In 2000, New Zealand created history by winning the World Cup. In 2005, the Australian team became the champion. England in 2009, Australia in 2013 won the tournament. England in 2017 and Australia again became the world champion in 2022. India has never won this tournament. In 2005 and 2017, Team India reached the finals but could not win. However, this time this team is playing the World Cup at their home and this team is expected to perform well.
