WTC Final Day 2 : Like the first day, the World Test Championship fell 5 wickets on the second day. But South Africa gave Australia a chance to be ahead in the final due to their batting, bowling and fielding failure. It is comforting for the Proteas that even though they could not take advantage of the opportunity, Ajira could not lift the match in their own hands. Australia are leading by 20 runs at the end of the second day. If South Africa can withdraw within 20 runs on the third day, then the World Test Championship will have a golden opportunity to win the final. Because the best time to bat in Lords is the third and fourth day.
Proteas are good starting
However, the beginning of the second day did not seem to have South Africa to think so much. Because Wednesday’s tremor, the Proteas were pulled behind Temba Babuma and David Bedingham. The two seemed to be free of customary. But against the speed of the game, the Proteas captain had to go back to the dressing room in the great catch of Marnas Labushan. When he hit the shot by Pat Cummins, he thought that four more runs would be added. But the cover took the incredible catch.

South Africa lost the last 4 wickets for 12 runs
But the picture completely changed in the second session. Pat Cummins collapsed in the Proteas innings. As a result, South Africa were all out for 5 runs from 121 for five wickets. Aussie captain took six wickets for 25 runs. Bedingham scored a maximum of 5 runs for the Proteas. But most of the batter Dobano scored 212 runs in the first innings, but Australia got a 5 -run lead.

Ajira started to play with that big lead. But in the eleventh over, Kagiso Rabada rotates. As the first innings, Usman Khwaja and Cameron Green were dismissed in the same over. Proteas bowlers did not last long for Labushan, Steve Smith, Beau Webster, Travis Head and Pat Cummins. As a result, Azid became seven wickets for 5 runs. The score was 5 runs by adding the lead.

At the end of the day, Azid’s lead was 20 runs.
